HireUp Consulting was formed by a team of multidisciplinary, University of Calgary graduates currently working and excelling at some of the largest oil and gas, engineering and technology companies in the world.

All of our consultants, from our geologists to our supply chain specialists currently work for major world-class companies alongside the people making the hiring decisions. We know exactly what the companies you dream to work for want and we’d like to finally share this knowledge with you.

Now, as our rate of success continues to grow and the students we train continue to evolve in caliber, companies of all types and sizes, from Civil Engineering firms to world-class energy companies come to us to provide them with top notch prospects from a vast array of degree streams.

Why we started HireUp

The short answer is because we wanted our past failures to turn into your future success.

It doesn’t take much to realize that the current system of networking and prospect identification is flawed and obsolete. We see amazing candidates being disregarded and great talent going unrecognized on a daily basis so we took it upon ourselves to force a revolution in the way companies view candidates.

We realized that the only sure-fire way to land a job in a highly competitive market is to make yourself known to the right people. We also realized that it takes the right support from mentors that truly care about you for doors to start opening. Thats why every single member of the HireUp founding team made a pact that we would fight our way into major world-class companies, find out exactly what these companies are looking for and create a proven approach that allows students and new graduates to stand out to prospective employers to ensure that you too can land the career you deserve.
